Singer Alok Singh Shares His Birthday Plans
“Every year, I try to record a new song on my birthday. This year too, I am recording a new song on my birthday. At home, a pooja is conducted, and the entire atmosphere feels like a festival on that day,” he says.
Singer Alok Singh, renowned for his hit song "Rang Ishq Da," is turning a year older on July 20. He shares that birthdays hold a special place in his heart. Though he ensures he works on his birthday, the day is also celebrated almost like a festival in his home.
“Every year, I try to record a new song on my birthday. This year too, I am recording a new song on my birthday. At home, a pooja is conducted, and the entire atmosphere feels like a festival on that day,” he says.
Talking about his most precious gift, he shares, “I have been singing since childhood. The most precious gift I received in my childhood was a very small musical keyboard that my elder brother gave me 20 years ago, and I still have it with me.”
Reflecting on the past year, he describes it as "a productive step for my career." He adds, “Everyone must have heard the song 'Na Umar Ki Seema Ho.' I believe there is no age limit for learning, nor any boundaries. As long as I am alive, I will keep learning, so I think age is just a number. We recently released a new song which my listeners have loved a lot, and I hope it reaches more people and receives lots of love.”
He concludes, “I feel that people have stopped giving time to themselves and spending time with themselves. But even today, I take out time for myself, whether it’s my birthday or any happy moment—I don’t miss it. A birthday is a big day, so I celebrate it with great enthusiasm with my friends and family.”
